Hey there!

It's Steve and Matt and we're SUPER excited to let you all in and share a sneak peek of our new game
Deliver Us!

Deliver Us
is a tense top-down twin-stick shooter action game with a surprisingly deep building, crafting, and resource management meta game.  This game is an inevitable result of our personal experiences playing and making all kinds of games over the years, as well the particularly dark sense of humor that we both share.

The game is set in a near-future world in which half the Earth's population has disappeared skyward and those left behind scramble to survive the hordes of greedy & murderous demons that have spilled onto the surface.  When these demons aren't stripping the flesh off your bones, they're stealing packages from doorsteps.  Turns out hell doesn't get delivery and the denizens of Hell want stuff!

You're a uniquely with-it sort of individual that stumbles across an abandoned, but still (mostly) working underground production and shipping facility known as 'HQ'.  With the help of a surly and emotionally unstable AI that has trust issues, you get HQ up and running, and over time return it (and the A.I) to its former glory.  It's from this HQ that you launch your action-packed thrill ride that is making deliveries in the Apocalypse.
For the most part, the human Survivors   on the surface that you come across are feral office-workers rummaging through the rubble. Find these lost Survivors, and they form 'trains' following behind you.  They can carry stuff for you, even weapons.  The more of them you find, the more items and weapons you can carry.  So, keep those guys alive! If you do, you can bring them back to the HQ in one piece, and they can provide labor to make more stuff, faster.  You might say that they are the elves to your post-apocalyptic Santa.

The more capable folks take shelter in their houses, still ordering goods online and hoping that someone, somewhere can answer their cries for help...and mint chocolate chip ice cream.  These become your Customers.  Get them what they want, consistently, and on time and you'll earn their trust, and in return, they'll share new resources, abilities, and rare items!

Lastly, there are a few strong ones remaining out there.  These wanderers become 'Deliverers'.  They swing by your HQ every now and then and you can recruit them, assign them to make deliveries and level them up.  Lose them, and they are gone.  Forever.  This and our procedurally-generated worlds gives   Deliver Us    it's light splash of 'Rogue-like'.
Part Paperboy, part Pikmin with guns,  and part Fallout ShelterDeliver Us is a game that is easy to pick up and play, while providing a surprisingly deep meta to keep a community engaged for a good long time.
